THE OPPORTUNITY / 01

Paying a fine should be simple.
Accounting for it must be exact.

Traffic-fine journeys cross roadside officers, court desks, municipalities, payment providers, banks, and public accounts. FinePay gives each participant a clear view of the same notice while preserving who has the authority to act.

01 /

Convenience with choice

Eligible motorists can pay through approved channels or use the lawful pay-later and court routes. Assisted options matter as much as digital ones.

02 /

One reference throughout

A notice reference connects the ticket, provider confirmation, settlement record, and authority response so operators can follow the entire chain.

03 /

Money to the right place

Each offence needs its lawful beneficiary and an approved collection route before funds are accepted and reconciled.

THE OPERATING MODEL / 02

From roadside
to resolved.

Four distinct events. One traceable record. Select a step to see what changes and who owns the next move.

STAGE 01 / 04

A notice begins
the record.

An authorised officer or desk issues a lawful notice with a reference, offence, amount, due date, responsible authority, and beneficiary. The motorist sees payment and court choices in plain language.

A bank receipt confirms payment. Legal processing remains with the responsible authority.

DESIGNED FOR PEOPLE / 03

Two perspectives.
One service.

Switch between a motorist’s path and the operating team’s view.

01 / THE PUBLIC VIEW

Know what is due.
Know what happens next.

Find a participating notice by reference or vehicle registration. Understand the amount, authority, deadline, and available actions before paying. Keep a receipt and follow a clear status timeline.

  • Reference and vehicle lookup
  • Plain-language payment and court options
  • Receipt with processing status
  • Assisted counters and basic-phone paths in the service proposal

THE WORKING PRODUCT / 04

More than a
concept deck.

A responsive working application was built to exercise the core operational journey with seeded, illustrative records.

01 / OPERATIONS

A command centre
for the whole chain.

Notices, payments, settlement status, exceptions, regional totals, and reports come together in a single workspace.

02 / TRANSACTIONS

Notice and payment flows

Issue a notice, route it to a beneficiary, accept a simulated payment, generate a receipt, and track acknowledgement independently.

03 / CONTROLS

Review before closure

Settlement matching, guided exceptions, audit events, duplicate-payment checks, and two-person refund approval are represented in the application.

04 / ACCESS

Help in the workflow

Motorist lookup, an operator walkthrough, searchable help, keyboard search, export, and mobile navigation support everyday use.

This is a working demonstration with illustrative records and simulated transactions. It is not a live government payment service.

TRUST & READINESS / 05

Built with the
right boundaries.

FinePay’s product work separates a useful demonstration from the institutional agreements required for live service.

01

Traceability by design

Stable references connect notices, payment records, settlement actions, and audit events. The product keeps payment confirmation separate from authority closure.

02

Guardrails for public money

Beneficiary mapping, matching queues, permission context, and independent refund approvals support accountable collection.

03

Hardened mobile use

Responsive layouts, touch-friendly controls, keyboard paths, clear error states, and reduced-motion support make the experience more resilient across devices.

04

Live connections need approval

Bank, court, police, municipal, SMS, and identity integrations require authorized live endpoints, contracts, credentials, and institutional review.

THE PATH FORWARD / 06

Start with a
controlled pilot.

Bring the responsible institutions together to confirm legal workflow, collection accounts, provider authority, data access, procurement, and operating ownership. Then test a scoped pilot with clear measures for service quality, matching, cash handling, and complaints.
